The main reason for mixing these two modes is that the principle of dehumidification mode and refrigeration mode operating in air conditioning is the same, that is, using a compressor to send liquid refrigerant through a capillary tube into the evaporator, vaporizing it into gas to absorb heat from indoor air, and then transporting the heat to the outside to achieve the goal of reducing indoor temperature, That is to say, both the dehumidification mode and the refrigeration mode are located in the position of the indoor unit, discharging some cold air to the outside. Therefore, many friends use the dehumidification mode as the refrigeration mode, which means that in the dehumidification mode, the air conditioner has a cooling effect, and in the refrigeration mode, it has a dehumidification effect. That is why when people see the air conditioner turning on the dehumidification mode or refrigeration mode, Water droplets will flow from the positions of indoor and outdoor drainage pipes, which also reduces the humidity of the indoor air.

While they have similarities, they also have significant differences, that is, their operating procedures are different. When the dehumidification mode is initially activated, it comes out relatively soft and at the lowest power, which is the lowest speed of the fan. The air that comes out is relatively warm and cold. Which of these dehumidification and cooling modes consumes more power? Therefore, in dehumidification mode, the set temperature is low and the wind force is small, which undoubtedly increases the working time of the compressor, which means it consumes more electricity, So if you use dehumidification mode instead of refrigeration mode in particularly hot summer weather, not only will it not save electricity, but the service life of the compressor will also be greatly reduced.
The correct way to use the dehumidification mode of air conditioning is when the room temperature is not high, which means the indoor temperature is almost suitable, but the air humidity is relatively high. If the dehumidification mode is turned on, and if the indoor temperature is hot and high, the refrigeration mode should still be turned on. Currently, most air conditioners do not have humidity sensors. If you can choose this type of air conditioning with humidity sensors, after the air conditioning detects that the temperature is suitable, When the humidity is not suitable, it can be linked to the humidifier next to it to achieve the required humidity indoors. Because the dehumidification of the air conditioner is endless during the refrigeration process, which means that the indoor humidity is constantly decreasing, exceeding the relatively suitable humidity for the human body.
