Shared bicycles were once a very popular new thing, and various operators were competing. In my memory, on the streets of Guangzhou, there were many shared bicycles of different colors, some of which I don't even remember their names now. In other words, I need to buy three brands of monthly passes at the same time to get on the bike as early as possible. The high cost of monthly cards from various operators is not cost-effective for me to commute. I have to settle for the second option, which is to ride whatever bike I see every day and make a single payment.

Usually, the distance between shared bicycles is 1-2 kilometers, which is equivalent to about 10-15 minutes of cycling time for many people. In Guangzhou, if BRT is used well, the bus fare for about 20 kilometers is only 2 yuan, and usually the subway and bus can be discounted after 16 times a month. I am increasingly realizing that riding a shared bike is expensive. Even though I deliberately limit my cycling time to within 15 minutes every day, I still spend nearly 1000 yuan per year here. If the time is extended, a cost of several thousand yuan would probably be enough for me to buy a few decent self owned bicycles, and even decent electric bicycles.
