The XP and XM series power supplies under Xianma belong to the same "X series" in a strict sense, focusing on high-performance performance. The suffix "P" or "M" is considered a sub project, used to refer to the market corresponding to the power supply. For example, P corresponds to high-end platforms, M corresponds to compact platforms, and so on. According to their original plan, the X-series power supply should also have a mainstream product with G as the suffix, corresponding to the mainstream market with 80Plus gold certification products as the main force. The Black Hole series power supply introduced today is in a sense another form of the XG series.
When it comes to Sima's black hole series products, I think the first thing that comes to mind may be Sima's black hole series chassis. However, in reality, "black hole" is no longer synonymous with a certain model or series of chassis for Sima. There are many silent products that have already taken the title of "black hole", such as the black hole series fans and the black hole series power supply that will be introduced today. The latter is actually a derivative product of the X series power supply, and in a sense, it is another form of "XG". There are four products, 750W/850W/1000W/1200W, using active PFC+full bridge LLC resonance+synchronous rectification+DC2DC structure, all of which are ATX3.0 specifications and have passed the 80Plus gold certification. They can enjoy a 10-year warranty service including a three-year replacement.
Similar to the positioning of other black hole series products, the black hole series power supply is not only an 80Plus gold medal product aimed at the mainstream market, but also has made special settings in terms of mute. The Sima Black Hole series power supply continues the mute settings of the XP series, providing intelligent fan start stop and 30 second fan detection functions, allowing the power supply to simultaneously balance heat dissipation efficiency and noise performance during operation, providing the same mute experience as other black hole series products.

The overall size of the Sima Black Hole 750 power supply is 150 * 150 * 86mm. For most mainstream platforms, there is basically no need to worry about installation compatibility, but it is not the best choice for compact platforms. The fan grille and top cover of the power supply adopt an integrated design, but compared to the striped grille used in the XP and XM series, the fan grille of the Black Hole 750 is composed of a large number of diamond shaped openings, which is visually more transparent.
The Black Hole 750 power supply is based on the ATX3.0 specification and adopts a full module interface design. At the same time, it also applies Sima's color management technology to divide the functions of the module interface through different colors. The matching module wires are also designed in the same way, so that players can easily connect the module wires at a glance.
The power supply adopts a 14cm fan from BDK, model BDL14025S, and uses FDB bearings. The motor specification is DC12V0.2A, and the measured maximum speed is 1650RPM. The speed is adjusted by adjusting the working voltage in the Sima Black Hole 750 power supply. At the same time, the intelligent start stop function and ECO30 second intelligent detection function are also applied. The former refers to the fan automatically stopping under low load and low internal temperature of the power supply, further reducing the operating noise of the power supply. The latter refers to the fan running for 30 seconds after the power supply is turned on for self detection, and only after passing the detection will it enter the intelligent start stop state.
After our actual testing, except for the 30 second self check during startup, the fan is in a stop state when the power output reaches 500W. After the output exceeds 500W, the fan starts running at around 800RPM. At 100% full load output, the actual fan speed is 1430RPM, which is relatively quiet in the experience.
The Sima Black Hole 750 power supply has passed the 80Plus gold medal certification and adopts the common active PFC+full bridge LLC resonance+synchronous rectification+DC-DC structure on high-end power supplies. The rated power is 750W, with a rated output current of 62.4A at+12V, equivalent to 748.8W. Both+5V and+3.3V have a rated output current of 20A, and a combined output power of 100W.

Xianma's color management technology distinguishes module interfaces for different purposes through four colors: red, green, blue, and black. Among them, red is the 8-pin module interface that can be used to expand CPU power supply and PCI-E power supply, blue is the 6-pin module interface that can be used to expand SATA power supply and D-type 4-pin power supply, green interface is used for 24pin main power supply, and black interface is actually designed in its original color. If it is a power supply with a white shell, it will be correspondingly changed to white, The corresponding is the 12VHPWR module interface.
All supporting wires are designed with embossed lines, which can provide 1 24pin main power supply, 2 4+4pin CPU power supply, 1 12+4pin 12VHPWR power supply, 3 6+2pin PCI-E power supply, 6 SATA power supply, and 2 D-type 4pin power supply. However, unlike the "single interface cables" used in the XP series, the two 4+4pin CPU power supply interfaces and two 6+2pin PCI-E power supply interfaces of the Black Hole 750 power supply both use a "one to two" design of cables. Therefore, even if all module cables are connected, there will still be one 6pin and two 8pin module interfaces left to be expanded by players themselves.

The power supply is based on active PFC+full bridge LLC resonance+synchronous rectification+DC-DC interface. The components are designed with a single side layout, arranged compactly, and the internal space is basically fully utilized. From the PCB design and basic materials, it can be seen that the Black Hole 750 power supply is indeed derived from the XP series design, with a similar layout and similar actual materials used.

After overloading to 120% power, i.e. outputting 900W, the output voltage of the Xianma Black Hole 750 power supply remains at normal levels, and the change in conversion efficiency is also within the normal range. The OPP over power protection point has been determined to be 1026W, equivalent to 121% of the rated power, with sufficient reserved power space.
In terms of ATX3.0 specification verification, the current parameters that the industry attaches great importance to are the conversion efficiency of 2% light load output, as well as the peak power performance at 120%, 160%, 180%, and 200% instantaneous dynamic output. After testing, the conversion efficiency of the Xianma Black Hole 750 power supply can both exceed 70% at 115V and 230V input voltages at 2% light load, which is 17W output. All dynamic peak power tests have passed, and since the power supply can actually provide up to 235% dynamic peak power, even with a rated power of 750W, it can meet the 300% peak power demand of the 600W level 12VHPWR interface, It can be determined that this power supply has ATX3.0 related qualities.
PS: Overloading to 120% power is required for evaluation. We do not recommend players to overload the power supply. If higher output power is indeed required, please use products with higher rated power.

The deviation and adjustment rate of+5V and+3.3V can be controlled within 2%, which indeed reaches the level of a high-end power supply and is consistent with its own positioning.
