Starting from 8:00 am on October 11th, Foshan Railway Station officially suspended passenger transportation in preparation for the construction and arrival of Foshan Station on the Guangzhou Zhanjiang High Speed Railway. The Foshan Station and Chancheng section of the Guangzhou Zhanjiang high-speed railway will start construction at the end of this year, and the entire line is expected to be completed by the end of 2025

Starting from 8:00 am on October 11th, Foshan Railway Station officially suspended passenger transportation in preparation for the construction and arrival of Foshan Station on the Guangzhou Zhanjiang High Speed Railway. The Foshan Station and Chancheng section of the Guangzhou Zhanjiang high-speed railway will start construction at the end of this year, and the entire line is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The upcoming Foshan Station is located to the west of the original site of Foshan Railway Station, on the west side of Foshan Avenue. After the completion of the Guangzhou Zhanjiang high-speed railway, the travel time from Foshan to Guangzhou station will only be 15 minutes, and the travel time from Foshan to Zhanjiang will be shortened to less than 2 hours, significantly improving the efficiency of citizens' travel.
