Wu Yongming stated that AI technology will fundamentally change the way knowledge iteration and social collaboration are driven, and the development acceleration driven by this will far exceed our imagination. We are at a node where traditional computing and AI computing are switching importance levels, and AI computing will eventually take over traditional computing resources. The deep integration of AI and cloud computing will become an important driving force for cloud computing iteration.

Wu Yongming believes that the revolution in AI technology is driving fundamental changes in computing paradigms, and AI computing is becoming the cornerstone of the entire digital world, becoming the scheduler and central nervous system of computing resources. He shared four reflections on this core viewpoint:

One is that AI technology will fundamentally change the way knowledge iteration and social collaboration are carried out. AI technology represented by large models carries enormous computing power, helping humans manage knowledge and facilitate collaboration. The development acceleration driven by this will far exceed our imagination, and have a comprehensive and profound impact on productivity and production relations, the digital world, and the real world.

The second is that we are at a node where traditional computing and AI computing are switching between important levels. Traditional computing must rely on the algorithmic logic preset by product managers and programmers, who translate real-world data flows into machine language to help people improve efficiency, similar to the human cerebellum. When AI can fully understand human language and the connections between real-world things, it has intelligence similar to the human brain. AI computing will take over traditional computing resources previously managed by programmers.

The third viewpoint proposed by Wu Yongming is that AI will directly understand user needs and enable software to have the ability to autonomously optimize and upgrade. Because AI can understand human language and the real world, AI assistants will directly understand user needs, bypass programmers, independently optimize and upgrade software, intelligently create new applications, and meet the constantly changing needs of individuals and enterprises.

The fourth viewpoint is that the key to developing AI is to create strong infrastructure and an open ecosystem. The digital infrastructure that supports AI must be an infrastructure that integrates AI capabilities. The deep integration of AI and cloud computing will become an important driving force for cloud computing iteration. The dual wheel drive of "AI+cloud computing" is the underlying capability of Alibaba Cloud to face the future and support AI infrastructure.

It is understood that half of the national AI big models are currently running on Alibaba Cloud. Wu Yongming stated that Alibaba will position itself as a "technology platform enterprise", build a more solid infrastructure base, continuously increase openness and open source efforts, and work with developers to create a prosperous AI ecosystem.

He revealed that Alibaba is about to open up a 72 billion parameter large model. This will be the largest open-source large model with the largest parameter scale in China.
