Recently, according to the latest announcement from Xianyu App, Xianyu Community plans to charge software service fees for sellers who engage in high-frequency and high-value transactions on the platform, and continue to waive software service fees for other sellers and all buyers. The announcement states that the charging policy is expected to officially take effect on June 6, 2023. The fee threshold is for orders generated in the current month with a quantity greater than 10 and a cumulative transaction amount greater than 10000 yuan. After reaching the fee threshold, 1% will be charged based on the actual transaction amount of each order for orders that exceed the fee threshold in the current month.

The announcement also said that the actual transaction amount of the order recorded by Alipay software system is subject to the actual transaction amount of Alipay, and freight (if any), idle fish coins, red envelopes, etc. are not included.
Xianyu is an idle trading platform app client under Alibaba Group, targeting the C2C community and market platform in China. Consumers can use Xianyu to search for a wide range of second-hand, recycled, refurbished, rental and other long tail products.
