I am ready to embrace Tencent Cloud in the future. So I want to talk about how to build a personal website from scratch (without coding) on the expiring Alibaba Cloud server

What I have chosen here is Pagoda Panel+WordPress

1. Download Pagoda Panel

1.1 Selecting Installation Scripts

1.2 Enter our server

1.2.1 Execute the copied command above

My server is CentOS, so execute the commands in 1.1.1

1.2.2 When prompted, simply enter y and press Enter

At this point in 1.2.3, it's considered a success

Note that the content in the red box in the figure is the access address and account password of the deployed pagoda panel

If you directly access it and find that it cannot be accessed. So maybe you didn't pay attention to this sentence

At this point, you need to go to the Alibaba Cloud console, configure the security group, and release port 42552

Then you can access it again and log in using the previously saved account and password

2. Entering the Pagoda Panel

2.1 Choose the recommended installation

After entering the pagoda panel, the following content will automatically pop up. Simply select the recommended one click installation option

Then wait for the download to complete. During the download process, you can remove the installation software panel and go to see other menus

For example, changing the account and password for logging into the pagoda panel

Of course, if you want to check the installation progress just now, you can click on the icon in the upper left corner. The installation progress will pop up again

2.2 Modifying the Access Address of the Pagoda Panel

In panel settings, you can modify the port and request path bound to the pagoda panel

For example, after adjusting, it is the following type, and after adjusting, my access address is
https://47.xxx.xx.xx1:8888/baotam

If you just finished making changes and find that you don't remember your settings, you won't be able to access the system now.

Don't panic. At this point, you can remotely access your server and enter a command

/etc/init.d/btdefault

Access information will be displayed

If it is found that access is not possible at this time and the security group on the Alibaba Cloud console is also set, then port 8888 in the server's firewall needs to be released

3. Start creating website

3.1 Adding Sites

Click on Website - Add Site and enter the domain name (if there is no domain name, simply enter the external IP address)

After creation, the following will be done

The red box above shows our website access address. You can visit and try www.wokeyi.top

After accessing, it will appear

3.2 Download WordPress

Find WordPress in the app store, follow the order shown in the following figure, and directly click on the one click deployment button at the back

After clicking on the deployment button, enter the domain name information. If not, enter the external IP address

After success, the created message will pop up

Then visit the site in the above figure and set it up

After selecting the language yourself, the next step will be to enter the page for filling in the database

Here, I need to input the information generated when deploying WordPress with just one click. The information I filled in is as follows

After entering the next step, it is necessary to set the basic information of the blog

After completing the filling, continue to the next step and finally enter the login page

After logging in, this is our blog website

It looks quite ugly, but you can switch to the theme. Click on Appearance Theme to find your favorite and switch between them

Are the existing themes unattractive? You can click to add a new theme

There are many exquisite themes to choose from inside, of course, some require payment

After installing the theme, you can directly access it and give it a try. Do you remember the domain name we set when installing WordPress earlier? Just visit that directly. The result of the visit is our blog
