Not long after, a topic called "China Telecom" suddenly hit Weibo hot search, causing a heated discussion on the internet.
Subsequently, the omnipotent netizen posted a screenshot of a "particularly serious network malfunction", which showed that starting from 14:15 on June 8th, China Telecom's mobile phones in the province were calling each other to indicate an empty number. The cause of the malfunction is yet to be verified.
At around 4 o'clock, the official Weibo account of China Telecom's Guangdong customer service posted a message stating that it was undergoing urgent repairs: "Due to network abnormalities, some mobile users were affected to answer their calls. We are currently conducting repairs and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding and support
Some netizens roast in the official blog of China Telecom that "the phone bill is 500 yuan a month, and the phone can't be called", "why there is no signal, have you ever thought that it's really urgent to contact your family", "there is something urgent, and you can't call, it's not harmful", and so on.
As of the time of publication, the Guangdong region of China Telecom is still in the above-mentioned state, and the issues have not been fixed yet.
