Site Description: Zhejiang University is a regular university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly built by the provinces and ministries. It is one of the first batch of key universities to enter the national "211 Project" and "Project 985". The predecessor of Zhejiang University, Qiushi Academy, was established in 1897 and is one of the earliest modern higher education institutions established by the Chinese themselves.
