Through free registration and open selection, 5G application projects are solicited from various innovative entities throughout society.

It is understood that Economy of Chongqing Regional Competition is hosted by Chongqing Economic and Information Commission (Chongqing 5G Development Joint Conference Office), Chongqing Communications Administration and 5G Application Industry Matrix. The competition aims to promote the ecological integration of 5G applications, give play to the role of 5G as a new engine in economic development, promote the deep integration of digital economy and real economy, and promote Chongqing to become a national 5G development leading and demonstration area.

At present, the construction of Chongqing's 5G network is located in the first tier of the country, and the 5G network has achieved full coverage in all districts and counties. As of May this year, the 5G network accessibility rate in Chongqing townships has reached 100%, with over 23 5G base stations per 10000 people in the city, ranking first in the western region.
