The reporter learned from the meeting that in recent years, in order to protect a reservoir of clean water, Danjiangkou City has set up 203 volunteer service teams of Party members to carry out the volunteer service activity of "cleaning and protecting water" regularly, cleaning 1233 tons of floating objects and 291.4 kilometers of reservoir shoreline.

In order to serve the construction of the middle route of the South to North Water Transfer Project and effectively protect the water quality and water ecological security of the Danjiangkou Reservoir Area, Danjiangkou City has invested 3.889 billion yuan in ecological construction since the "12th Five Year Plan", comprehensively strengthening water pollution prevention and ecological construction in the reservoir area.
