What can 3D printing produce? In Yinchuan, Ningxia, engineers are building a brand new casting using 3D printing. As the sand box is pushed in, printing begins, and the sander evenly spreads the sand. The printing head consists of tens of thousands of micro droplet spray holes, which are controlled by a computer to spray resin. The resin and the curing agent in the sand react and bond, forming a sand core after sand blowing. By utilizing 3D printing technology, a new casting can be produced in as little as 4 to 5 days. If traditional casting processes are used, it will take 45 days.

In 2012, Shared Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. established a professional team to overcome technical challenges such as casting 3D printing materials, processes, software, equipment, and integration, achieving the first industrial application of casting 3D printing in China. At present, more than 20 3D printing production lines have been built, and 6 casting 3D printing digital chemical factories have been built in Yinchuan and other places. At the same time, we continuously carry out new product development and mature product iteration and upgrading, and have developed more than 10 models of casting 3D printing equipment, providing nearly 200000 tons of casting sand molds and 100000 tons of castings.
