In the AI big model field, which is widely concerned by the industry, Tencent Cloud has announced upgrades in three major areas: technology base, innovation scenario, and AIforScience, which is also another update after the industry big model technology solution in June. Among them, the latest upgrade of self-developed Star Pulse High-performance computing network and vector database will provide more powerful underlying capabilities for industrial applications of large models; Innovative scenarios such as financial risk control, interactive translation, and digital intelligence provide more possibilities for exploring industry models; AI for Science continues to apply the latest technologies such as AI large models to astronomical exploration and cultural archaeology.

In detail, in the field of technology base, we have developed our own Star Pulse High-performance computing network and vector database to provide more abundant computing infrastructure for industrial applications of large models. Among them, the newly upgraded Tencent Cloud's self-developed Star Pulse High-performance computing network can increase the GPU utilization by 40%, save 30%~60% of model training costs, and bring 10 times of communication performance improvement to the AI large model. Based on Tencent Cloud's new generation computing power cluster HCC, it can support a super large computing scale of 100000 cards. Tencent Cloud AI native vector database supports up to 1 billion levels of vector retrieval scale, with latency controlled at the millisecond level. Compared to traditional single machine plug-in database retrieval scale, it increases by 10 times, and also has a peak query per second (QPS) capability of millions.

In terms of application innovation, Tencent's cloud industry big model capabilities have been applied to scenarios such as financial risk control, interactive translation, and digital human customer service, greatly improving the efficiency of intelligent applications.

The financial risk control solution supported by industry models has increased efficiency by 10 times compared to before. Through Tencent's accumulation of over 20 years of experience in black and gray industry confrontation and thousands of real business scenarios, the overall anti fraud effect has been improved by about 20% compared to traditional models. Enterprises can iterate their risk control capabilities based on the prompt mode, from sample collection, model training to deployment and launch, achieving zero manual participation throughout the entire process, and reducing modeling time from 2 weeks to only 2 days. Even with limited sample accumulation, it is possible to quickly build and skip the "cold start" process.

In the field of interactive translation, based on the big model technology of the industry, simultaneous interpreting technology no longer needs millions of training data, and only needs "small sample" training to achieve good results. Translation in professional fields can also reduce the participation of manual tuning, ensure the translation effect, and landed in many vertical industries. Among them, Tencent simultaneous interpreting has provided AI simultaneous interpreting services for the main forum of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference for six consecutive years.

In the field of digital intelligence, Tencent Cloud launched a small sample digital labor factory this year, which can replicate 2D digital avatars within 24 hours with only a small amount of data, greatly reducing the cost of enterprise application digital intelligence services. Now, relying on AI generation algorithms, the speed of 3D image reproduction of Zhiren has been greatly improved. Through generative action driven and combined with the industry's large model capabilities, enterprises can obtain more "personalized, professional, and natural and realistic" Zhiren employees, making "face-to-face" professional services possible.
