At around 8 am Beijing time today, OpenAI's API encountered a serious failure due to an incorrect upgrade, making it unusable. In addition, OpenAI stated that some API requests and some users of ChatGPT were also affected by this failure. OpenAI indicates that the potential issues affecting the subset of API clients (as well as the extended ChatGPT) are related to the upstream part of the API authentication stack.

Previously, OpenAI services had experienced more than one large-scale failure, affecting all modules and models (including ChatGPT, GPT-3playground, API, etc.). Perhaps due to ChatGPT being too hot, OpenAI services were under tremendous pressure.
