The Xining Municipal Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plant is located in Changning Town, Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Xining City. It is the first domestic waste incineration power plant in Qinghai Province. The new 110 kV Shanfo Line was connected to the Shancheng 330 kV Substation, with a total length of 13.82 kilometers and 44 new towers, laying a solid power foundation for the successful operation of the project.

At present, the power plant is undergoing trial operation of incineration lines 1 and 2, achieving the goals of "two boilers and one unit" trial operation and grid connected power generation. Since the grid connected trial operation, approximately 10 million kilowatt hours of electricity have been transmitted. In the future, all domestic waste in the main urban area of Xining City may be transported to the Xining Municipal Domestic Waste Incineration Power Plant.
