100000 years ago, there were at least 6 species of humans on Earth, why were we the only ones left in the end?

The development of human civilization has always been the focus of scientists' research, but in fact, why humans emerged has also been a headache for scientists from ancient to modern times, because regardless of the level of analysis, the birth of humans is too bizarre.
To be aware of the vastness of the universe, the emergence of life on Earth alone, and even the evolution of highly intelligent animals like humans, raises doubts about whether our birth was a masterpiece of the Creator. The development of science has also deepened this understanding.
Ten thousand years ago, there were six different types of humans on Earth who lived in different regions and had completely different habits. However, in the end, only we stood out. Why is this? Is there anything special about us?

Formerly human
Those who have some knowledge of biology know that we belong to Homo sapiens. Homo sapiens evolved from Homo erectus and, after tens of thousands of years of evolution, ultimately formed modern humans today.
So as early as 100000 years ago, were there only Homo sapiens on Earth? Of course not. At that time, there were six types of humans on Earth, and their appearance and disappearance are still a mystery to this day. However, for the profound origins of humans like mountains and seas, finding a clue is still feasible.
Firstly, let's talk about the Heidelberg people, who are also a branch of Homo erectus. This mysterious race was discovered in Heidelberg, Germany in the last century, hence it was named the Heidelberg people.

The skull fossils of the Heidelberg people are not much different from those of modern humans. Whether in terms of eye sockets or brain capacity, the Heidelberg people were perhaps the most intelligent population among humans at that time.
According to anthropologists' research, the distribution of Heidelberg people is very extensive. In addition to Europe, traces of Heidelberg people have also been found in Africa and even Asia. It can be said that Heidelberg people are a race that spans three continents.
Regarding why humans have evolved such high intelligence, scientists explain that humans have a large brain capacity, which is the foundation for the evolution of higher organisms.

The brain capacity of Heidelberg people is the largest in the human population, and the largest skull fossil found shows that Heidelberg people can have a maximum brain capacity of 1400 milliliters. It should be noted that our modern human brain capacity is only 1250 milliliters.
According to this clue, the Heidelberg people should have the highest intelligence among the six races, with a high probability of laughing until the end, but they made a mistake in evolution.
Due to their widespread distribution, the Heidelberg people were divided into two groups: one went to Europe and the other went to Africa. The European group evolved into Neanderthals, while the African group evolved into Homo sapiens. As a result, the history of the Heidelberg people came to an end.

After the Heidelberg people in Europe evolved into Neanderthals, they occupied the entire European continent and also had a very large population in western Asia.
Due to being a higher race than the Heidelberg people, the Neanderthals had learned to choose their place of residence. They were cave dwelling humans who often lived in caves and learned to use tools. The Neanderthals hunted with tools and ate cooked food.
In addition, the Neanderthals have already begun to develop civilization, and a Neanderthal relic has been discovered in France. People have discovered that Neanderthals actually hold sacrificial ceremonies, burying the deceased devoutly, and offering sympathy to their sick or injured counterparts.

This discovery has caused a shock in the anthropological community, and it is unimaginable that as early as 70000 years ago, the emotional cognition of Neanderthals had reached such a high level. In this way, Neanderthals lived on Earth for nearly 80000 years, but just over 20000 years ago, Neanderthals disappeared.
There is a saying about their disappearance that they evolved into Homo sapiens. Because in the DNA sequencing in 2014, the genome sequence of Neanderthals was very similar to that of our modern people.
Lonely Branch
Both Heidelberg and Neanderthals have a wide distribution range and a huge population, but there is also a human species, they are a solitary population, which is the Denisovans. The Denisovans are the only population living in the Ice Age, and their choice is truly puzzling.

It should be noted that migration is an instinct of animals, and when the weather gets cold, the population will spontaneously move towards warm places. The populations that can stay in extremely cold regions are hardy animals, often with thick fur and a thick fat layer. However, how did the Denisovans, as primates, survive in extremely cold regions?
Scientists have found that the Denisova people have lived on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau for a long time, surviving on the roof of the world. They were the lone warriors of that era, unable to find the same companions or communicate with the real outside world. Only the cold weather accompanied them.
After sequencing the genome sequence of the Denisovans, parts of Neanderthals and Homo sapiens were discovered. Therefore, scientists believe that the Denisovans may be a branch of Neanderthals regarding their origin.

After the disappearance of the Neanderthals over 20000 years ago, a small portion of them may have entered the Qinghai Tibet Plateau from western Asia to survive, but the towering ridges prevented them from continuing their eastward journey. In no way, the Denisovans could only settle on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, and the harsh environment ultimately led to their disappearance.
New Discoveries
The Florese people and the Maludong people are new human populations discovered in recent years, and their discoveries provide us with an understanding of our own origins and new directions for thinking.
The Florese are the shortest of all human species and have the smallest brain capacity, but they have the longest survival time besides Homo sapiens.

This discovery also surprised people, because according to common sense, the size of the Florese people could not help them hunt large animals, nor could their intelligence help them evolve, but they actually survived the fierce competition.
Until over 10000 years ago, there were still figures of the Florese people on Earth, which means they lived in the same era as us, but this population also went extinct.
The Maludong people are a minority of six human populations, and their survival time is slightly longer than that of the Florese people. However, miraculously, the Maludong people have always maintained the characteristics of early Homo sapiens.

In other words, the Maludong people did not evolve for a period of 100000 years, and due to their laziness, they eventually became extinct over 12000 years ago.
Why are we the only surviving Homo sapiens or modern humans today? In fact, it is not that we Homo sapiens are too powerful to withstand the natural struggle of 100000 years.
But because we are almost all descendants of these races, one of the Heidelberg people evolved into modern humans, and a small portion of the Neanderthals also evolved into modern humans.
The entire human population is working hard for the next generation, and the vast population has given up its superiority, constantly evolving only for a small portion to continue. Homo sapiens laughed until the end, but left behind the genes of their ancestors.
