It is reported that the laboratory will be named Advanced Data Center Development Laboratory and is expected to start operating within this year. Intel Korea said that it would cooperate with its partner companies to test and verify the interoperability of its CPU, hardware products and next-generation memory chip products in the laboratory.

Foreign media reported that this move is expected to help Intel strengthen its cooperation with local Korean chip manufacturers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
