On June 15th, the 10th "Join Hands with Youth and Share Sunshine" China Russia University Student Exchange Conference and the 5th International Youth Artificial Intelligence Competition (Far East Division) were held at Heihe University.

This competition attracted 32 undergraduate colleges and more than 100 participating teams from China and Russia to participate in the competition. The competition is divided into four events: triathlon, robot dance, artificial intelligence innovation special event, explorer all terrain task challenge, and 12 performance events, including autonomous vehicles, EPRobot intelligent cars, ROS intelligent elderly robots, portable health detectors, and underwater robots. The content covers multiple popular research fields of artificial intelligence.

At the competition site, the robot held a brush and paused, turned, and sketched on rice paper. The mechanical arm production team from the School of Computer and Information Engineering of Heihe University, who participated in the performance competition, introduced the basic principles, structure, advantages, and practical applications of their project to teachers and students.

In the special competition area for underwater robots, contestant Daniel from Blagovyshensk National Normal University in Russia conducted work debugging. He said, "With people's attention to marine environmental protection and climate change issues, underwater robots have also been widely used in environmental monitoring, ecological protection, and other aspects. Our participating works can achieve functions such as underwater salvage and rescue, underwater detection, and underwater entertainment

After intense competition, Northeast Forestry University won the champion of the Explorer All Terrain Task Challenge; Harbin Normal University won the champion of robot dance contest; Heihe College won the triathlon championship.
