Taobao Launches the Public Welfare Activity of "Old Baby New"

On October 23rd, during the Double Ninth Festival, a public welfare activity focusing on the elderly was launched on Taobao. Taobao, in collaboration with the China Elderly Development Foundation (China Elderly Foundation), jointly launched the "Old Baby New" public welfare activity - Taobao will shoot the skills of the elderly into public welfare online courses, which will be listed as products in the China Elderly Foundation's public welfare store on Taobao

At present, there are 50 "Old Baby" courses available on Taobao's "China Old Foundation Public Welfare Online Store", covering topics such as "pigeon raising, flower raising, ballet dancing, pan tou, crab eating, lion dance expression management". All courses are priced at 0.99 yuan. After placing an order, users can click on the link provided by the merchant to enter the H5 page to view the purchased courses and receive their exclusive love certificate.

Taobao Waiter and the person in charge of the "Old Baby New" project, Youyou, introduced that the original intention of the event was to call for attention to the needs of the elderly and see their needs. The event will continue from October 23rd to November 11th, and all the donations will be donated to the "Leling Companion, Rural Left Behind Elderly Care Project".

It is also understood that the "Old Baby New" activity will also recommend public welfare courses to more consumers through the "Buy One" feature on Taobao. Regarding this, Xia Chao, Deputy Secretary General of the China Lao Foundation, hopes that more Taobao users can participate and discover the value of the elderly around them together, "seeing old treasures and discovering new wisdom".
