CDC: 106 new confirmed cases of monkeypox reported in mainland China in June

On July 14, according to the website of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention: from June 2 to June 30, 2023, 106 confirmed cases of monkeypox were newly reported in the mainland of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), including 48 cases reported in Guangdong Province, 45 cases reported in Beijing City, 8 cases reported in Jiangsu Province, 2 cases reported in Hubei Province, 2 cases reported in Shandong Province and 1 case reported in Zhejiang Province, with no serious cases or deaths.The epidemic situation presents the following characteristics: First, the vast majority of cases are Gay sexual practices, mainly transmitted through male to male contact

Fourth, the clinical manifestations of the vast majority of cases are typical, mainly including fever, herpes, Lymphadenopathy and other symptoms, and there are no severe cases or death cases.
