Moreover, when zooming in on photos in the past, the image gradually became blurry. Google has introduced the image zooming function "ZoomEnhance", which uses generative AI to automatically add image details, allowing users to freely zoom in on photos.

Dina Berrada, Director of Product Management at Google Photos, said that they will also add more generative AI features to image editing, in other words, AI will change the experience of mobile photography.

In addition to taking photos, people also use their phones to take videos and record recordings. Google has developed an AI sound editing tool called "AudioMagicEraser", which can reduce unnecessary noise in videos, such as wind or noisy human voices. Users can also use the AI video enhancement feature "VideoBoost" to adjust the color, lighting, stability, and graininess of the video.

In addition, they have also implanted some conventional generative AI text processing functions, such as generating web page abstracts, reading and translating web pages, etc. In the future, they will also launch the AI assistant "AssistantWithBard", which can automatically generate social media files based on user photos of pet dogs, and can also help people read emails, make travel plans, edit text messages, and so on.
