On March 3rd, 2025, the Mobile World Congress (MWC2025) opened its doors in Barcelona, Spain. Visionox, a leading global provider of AMOLED display technology, made a stunning appearance with a series of innovative AMOLED technologies and applications, showcasing breakthroughs in ultimate screen performance, new forms of in-vehicle displays, and upgrades to its ViP technology. ViP's Superior Performance Ushers in a New Chapter for AMOLED Displays
ViP (Visionox intelligent Pixelisation) AMOLED products are core technologies independently developed by Visionox. Compared to traditional FMM AMOLED products, ViP exhibits significant advantages in several aspects. ViP technology boasts a longer lifespan, higher brightness and resolution, superior display image quality, and enhanced environmental reliability. Furthermore, ViP technology enables the production of full-size and arbitrarily shaped screens, offering greater flexibility in product design.
As the industry's first screen manufacturer to adopt FMM-less lithography pixel technology, Visionox's ViP technology maintains a leading position globally. First, thinner modules and more responsive touch control. Visionox's industry-first AMOLED Real In-cell TP technology integrates touch functionality into the AMOLED screen, significantly reducing screen module thickness, providing more design space for mobile devices like smartphones, and improving touch sensitivity and response speed.
Second, higher refresh rates for a smoother user experience. Visionox showcased the world's first 260Hz refresh rate OLED phone screen, achieving a significant improvement in display smoothness through unique circuit design. For gaming phones and high-end flagship models, this technology effectively eliminates screen lag, making scrolling smoother and providing a more immersive gaming experience.
Furthermore, Visionox's 0.8mm ultra-narrow bezel technology attracted considerable attention. Through the integrated design of the cover plate and the phone frame, the left and right bezels of the phone are compressed to 0.8mm, significantly increasing the screen-to-body ratio and visually creating a near "bezel-less" effect. At MWC2025, Visionox debuted its flexible AMOLED integrated display solution and in-vehicle dual-screen and flexible AMOLED in-vehicle central control display solution. These innovative solutions redefine human-vehicle interaction, bringing a new user experience to the smart cockpit.
Visionox's flexible AMOLED integrated display solution uses a high-quality dual-screen splicing process, equipped with integrated module materials, with a splicing bezel of only 5.6mm, and achieves an excellent all-black effect when displaying black, achieving a perfect balance between functionality and entertainment.
Visionox's flexible AMOLED in-vehicle central control display solution employs UFG technology, with a glass thickness of only 1.1mm, locally thinned to 0.1mm. The thinner screen provides more design space within the vehicle. The solution's fixed curvature angle reaches 130, better adapting to the vehicle's structure and driving needs, providing a more comfortable user experience.
Additionally, Visionox showcased a 14.2-inch sliding and curling AMOLED central control screen, using a UTG ultra-thin glass solution, with a screen thickness of only 0.8mm and supporting over 200,000 sliding and curling cycles. In its stowed state, this product can be used as a standard central control screen, while expanding to 14.2 inches when unfolded, meeting the needs of navigation, entertainment, and other multi-tasking demands, greatly improving the practicality and functionality of the in-vehicle system.
